Kiffel Pesula is a laundry company based in Vaasa that washes and restores textiles for reuse.
The company partners with Minimossen in carpet recycling. Kiffel Pesula receives carpets collected from the region, cleans and restores them, after which they are returned for sale in our recycling mall.
The carpets are sorted according to material, level of dirt, and condition, and each carpet is assigned a suitable washing and drying method. Environmentally certified detergents are used in the washing process, which saves approximately 100 liters of water per carpet cleaned.
Reducing textile waste is an important issue for Kiffel. In addition to its daily operations, Kiffel Pesula also carries out the ELY-funded Textile Tomorrow project, which researches and develops circular economy processes for textile care together with industry partners.
