Locked bin

A locked bin is a locked container intended for combustible waste and biowaste from holiday homes. The containers are located outside the gate to all waste reception stations and at 17 other locations. They can be accessed at any time of day or night.

The key to the container is available for a deposit of 20 euros. The locked bin can then be used from 1.5.-30.9. A utility fee of 25 euros and the deposit of 20 euros are invoiced together annually after the season. If the locked bin is used all year round, the cost is 60 euros. However, the locked bins at the waste reception stations are removed in the winter, except for the locked bins at Oravainen’s and Vöyri’s stations.

Fill in the pdf-form (in Finnish) to gain access to the locked bin. If you submit the form at one of our waste reception stations or at the office in Koivulahti (Kvevlax), you will receive the key at the same time. If you post the form, the key will arrive in the post.
